Have installed Indigo for Maya RT demo - how do you export?

Sorry - Im sure this has been answered before - but how do you export a scene from Maya to Indigo?

I recognise that there is a plug-in exporter but the RT version didnt give me an option for Maya.

Is it possible to load universal formats eg .FBX into Indigo?

Please advise.... I'm confused ....

Hi, please get Maya to Indigo (MtI) from my signature, extract the archive on disk then source mti_installation.mel by browsing to it from the Script Editor menu.

This will add a shelf with three buttons: Indigo is added to your list of renderers for the current Maya session after you have clicked one shelf button. this action will also add a MtI menu and a new Indigo render category in the nodes editors (or, just the Indigo related nodes in the Maya categories sometimes). I recommend using the Indigo Editor (first shelf button) when editing materials and geometries for Indigo.

All Maya features are not supported, the exporter is not exactly robust but it covers pretty much all Indigo features. Feel free to ask in the Maya forum for further details about MtI. It's my first scripting project and I need some user guidance on wanted features and workflows to add, along with bug reports to help me enhance it.

Thank you
