I have to change pc to continue rendering .
I tried to do it but unsuccesfully.
I have moved the whole folder with the igs, igi and the frame-numbered folder created by blendigo to another pc , but:
A problem occurred with the scene:
failed to load XML doc from path 'C:\xxxxxxx\xxx\xxx.igi': Error document empty. (Line 0, column 0.)
The path folder are the same in both computer.
thank you

Re: moving igi to another pc
Yes, took me some time to understand whats the point behind this useless bug report Indigo throws out (please Glare fix it!!!).
Its simply that some of your texture paths are missing, even if you think you got them all!
To have a easy fix for this start Indigo on your irst computer and hit in the GUI: Tools > Pack Indigo Scene
by this you generate IGS file with all related meshes and textures etc., easy to transfer to another computer

Re: moving igi to another pc
Yes I know the pigs files (packed igs) , but I want to transplant a igi file, not a igs.
I think your answer is correct, maybe I will have success if all linked external materials and textures are in the same folder of the igs file.

Re: moving igi to another pc
To resume from a igi you need the whole scene, so my advice does make sense... doesn't it?

Re: moving igi to another pc
yeah
it works
I just have to move the pigs and the igi in another pc , in any path .
then unpack the pigs with 7zip and run the igi file.
It works because the new unpacked igs refers to the unpacked data.
Thanks

Re: moving igi to another pc
In other words: when packing a scene, Indigo regroup required files and edit all paths in the IGS to be local to the IGS path. This is what makes pigs portable. It works because the new unpacked igs refers to the unpacked data.
