The difference would be that indigo commercial can :
-Render multiple instances (you could do multiple renders on the same system)
-Multi threaded rendering
-Remove Watermark

This would be instead of the resolution restriction..

The actual free version is good : it is a version that allows people who don t want to pay yet to test the software in it s FULL power potential. because if you create a performance difference, how do you expect people to know what they are really going to buy? that s just logic.
what if, at the car lot, in the ferrari you want to buy, when you test it, they put an old Toyota Corolla motor? see?

i think, Benn s idea of paying for 1 render is not bad : it will make people realize that after 30 renders, it would have easily rentabilized...

Because it's software and not the real thing, you can chose cut the cake and eat it too... meaning by this you can have it watermarked and scalable (filling all threads) or you can making it not scalable without watermarking. Then you can have a Ferrari and a Yugo under the same hood, see the logic ;)

How come I'm trolling or spamming? You're better know what you're talking about before pointing fingers mate...
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional or disciplinary response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
Spam is the abuse of electronic messaging systems (including most broadcast media, digital delivery systems) to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately.
People don't like throttling? Fine, what I would like earing is why having one or another is actually a bad thing...

Controversial? Inflammatory? You should really go out more, or at least learn the meaning of words if you want to go into a dialog with someone.

I would consider things that result in ongoing argument as contoversial. And also its quite irrelevant because neither Ben nor Nick commented on your idea (from which i would conclude that they dont think its relevant).

Maybe im wrong. On top of that i wasnt actually saying that you *are* trolling, just that its starting to look a bit like that.

Im sorry and i didnt want to hurt your feelings. Please let us stop the argument here :)

---------------------------------------
edit: im taking that last message from you relatively personal. i watched my words and i wasnt accusing you of anythig.

So far no one actually went trough on having both, so I wouldn't call ongoing, perhaps onegoing would be more right, stopping...
