Use the tabulated pure water mat found in the mats thread, that should satisfy your hunger for water SSS ;)

That's THE water :)

http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... r&start=75
directly under each other, you can find all the schott glass (glass from REAL data) and right below, also water from real data :)

In that thread, there are many interesting mats... I wonder if some of them will also land in the new MatDB...

I don't think CoolColJ and WhiteRaven will mind, seeing as they have already posted their mats to the public on the forum.

+ They invested an extreme amount of time. And they always wanted to bring it to the community...

Both now are very rare seen guests... I wonder when they come back^^

oh, I dunno... all those mats are rather complex and slowish... Tabulated spectrum is slower than normal R G B colours, SSS is used in the water as well as chromatic dispersion, which is one of the slowest features, available in Indigo ;) (although as I just see, chromatic dispersion is kinda disabled for this one.... strange...)

Daniel,

I'd edit out your email of your post, and instead tell people to PM you

"Spiders" (automated programs that spammers use to crawl the internet looking for email addresses) will pick up your email address, and you'll end up spammed. :(

There IS scattering, but sooo shallow that you wont notice, usually.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sub_Surface_Scattering - just so you know what it actually is ;)

Thanks for the English :) It's pretty good so I wonder why you didn't speak English from the beginning xD
Thank you Kram, i was asking because the "water" preset material from Skindigo has SSS.

Well, it is like traveling to europe and found someone from your country.. you start to talk in spanish :D

Sure, though you've a Spanish section in this forum for such stuff :P (And it's got a dynamic topic so that it's impossible to get OT xD - at least if you use the first Spanish thread...
