Got my i7 930 running at 4.2ghz now, and I cracked 1110k samples on that Erotica scene 8)

even 1ghz makes quite a difference on an i7

reran the test scenes again now at 4.2ghz (i7 930) and full 1600mhtz ram speed in v2.4.3 - better numbers

Numbers are numbers, your eyes are the real value CoolColJ.

As much as it can be right to compare computers with a given version of Indigo, we users can't tell really wether an algorithm change will result on higher samples count only, or in fewer samples but of an higher relevance.

Perceived convergence is the real thing. e: And monochromatic noise seems to help.
