I'm sure start-up SketchUp tutorials would be high on the list. What would you like to learn about that you don't know about Indigo and its exporters?
Try and keep the conversation on topic!

Yes, a Video tutorial on how to speed up rendering with a bunch of small Tips&Tricks that we get asked here in the Forum very often would be great I think.Soup wrote:...I think an optimization one would be good, explaining exit portals and things like that.
Glass & transmitting/transparent materials could easily get one, or even a few of their own..
Yes!!! Something step-by-step, Master this first, then you can try this, and now you are ready for this, kind of thing. When I opened it up, there were so many many things that made (and still make) no sense to me. It isn't intuitive. Something that even explains what a "mesh" is (did I even spell that right? I don't think I did, sorry). Something that starts with the minimum you need to know to begin with, then adds a little at at a time.Zom-B wrote:Video Tutorials are nice for new people to Indigo.
I would say do a basic scene scenario with some different materials and light and go through setup till render progress in every app & exporter. (please no cubes & spheres!!! Take some architecture from various render competitios or whatever!)
By this you'll have a 5min startup exporter handling video for each 3D application, that also explains some general stuff and shows how fast a scene can be converted to render with Indigo.
