Hi guys, I seem to be posting for a lot of help around here these days but I have 1 more thing I'm hoping someone wide can help me out with. I send my file to the render ranch, go it back, uncompressed it and now I am left with a .igi
Could someone please tell me how I could get that into a PNG or JPEG file, I'm completely lost on what to do.
Thanks for any help!

Got my IGI from the ranch, but I'm stuck!
Re: Got my IGI from the ranch, but I'm stuck!
On The Ranch FTP should also be a PNG output and also 32 bit EXR if you checked them to be saved on your Project!!!
To get something out of your IGI, start Indigo and then choose "resume render from IGI". For this you need your scene file (should be on the ranch FTP too).
You can change your scene file to save EXR if you want to!
After this Indigo resumes and you can start where the ranch ended, and finetune your light layers tonemapping etc.

Hi ZomB,
Thanks for helping me out. Yea I read up on the ranch docs and it says there should be a PNG file unless it wasnt able to do it then there wont be. As my render was 8000x8000 I imageine that it wasnt able to make the PNG for whatever reason, do you think that may be the case?
I did try what you said interms of resuming the render but I get the following error:
"Error: SceneLoaderExcep: could not find root 'scene' element"
So I dont know what that means. Also I doubt I will physicaly be able to continue the render because the whole reason I sent it to the ranch in the first place was because my PC wasnt good enough to render it. Do you have any ideas about how I could get an image out of this situation?
Thanks!

Try to Use Violet to open your IGI, maybe it works: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... =21&t=5461
If it doesn't, just write a eMail to the Ranch Guys.... they are a bunch of friendly French, who will try to help you for sure

Hi,
I got word from the Ranch guys and they said the file went through without stopping but it did generate an error (attach at the bottom). So basically there is a problem with the .igi and thats why it's not working. I posted over here with a very similar error message:
http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... 296#p75296
I'm hoping Whaat can help me out, im stuck and really in a rush. I tried the program you said and it just says "Updating" for ages, It's probably because the IGI is corrupt in some way. Thanks for your help through, I appreciate you taking the time out!

Re: Got my IGI from the ranch, but I'm stuck!
Nick,
as I told you in my e-mail, the problem is in the .igs file (the Indigo scene), which in its current state cannot be processed by Indigo. Perhaps the problem is your Sketchup exporter? So the .igi that you saw is definitively _not_ valid. The render should have lasted several hours as you specified (240 minutes) but it lasted only a few minutes instead - just the time needed for the whole RANCH to acknowledge the error and clean the 128 nodes after the crash.
So, you need to have an .igs file which at least begin to render on your system. If it does not, we won't be able to render it either. I am sure people here will be able to tell you why this error is generated.
