Shutter open duration dropped? When?

Post by CoolColJ » Tue Jun 09, 2009 4:45 pm

The last time I used Indigo was in v1.04

anyway I fired up a newer version and tried some of my old water test scenes, and Indigo was saying Shutter Open duration was no longer supported or something

Just wondering when that was changed?

Man everything seems to have changed, even the render engine is different?
Anyway I also ran the same scene with v1.04 and one thing for sure it's a lot faster now!

But the image looks so different...

have so much catching up to do :(

another quick question

any way to change where Indigo automaticly saves the pics and IGI files? I want them saved into Indigo's own directory, not my documents and settings directory

you can set it on the command line, -o and -igio.

thanks ono

Do large_mutation_prob, max change, max_num_consec_rejections etc in the scene file do anything anymore?

because the render output doesn't seem to match my past expectations of certain favourite settings

like I'm getting a lot of multi-coloured things in the render which doesn't happen in older versions of Indigo, unless certain valves of the above were used
