Indigo and Linux

Post by Pascal » Wed Jul 16, 2008 11:20 pm

Hi

How do I run Indigo in Linux without wine? I think this should be possible, since there are Linux-versions to download.

Thanks alot, Pascal

*moved*

@ Pascal: download a linux build (i think the latest was this ) and simply double click on the "indigo" executable.
if this doesn't work, open your terminal and navigate to your indigo folder ("cd /home/pascal/Desktop/indigo/" for example)
and type "./indigo" and tell us what your terminal said. (some infos about your system also wouldnt hurt in case it doesnt work ;) )

I use Indigo in combination with Wine. This works really well.

Best regards,
Martin

Hey Pascal,

do you have data to compare this? How much "faster" is it?

Sandsturm
Wine / Indigo combo wont allow you to utilize your 64 bits if you got 'em... I always stick with the last stable version's linux build.
