Linux Build 1.09 Stable Problems with wxgtk?

Post by Colezero » Tue Jun 17, 2008 6:50 am

Hi everyone,

if i try to run the gui-indigo, my console tell me this:

Code: Select all

Fatal Error: Mismatch between the program and library build versions detected.
The library used 2.8 (no debug,Unicode,compiler with C++ ABI 1002,wx containers,compatible with 2.4,compatible with 2.6),
and your program used 2.8 (no debug,Unicode,compiler with C++ ABI 1002,wx containers,compatible with 2.6).
Aborted
Is there a problem with the wxgtk?
But this is what is confusing me:

Code: Select all

The library used 2.8
and your program used 2.8
The console seems to run pretty fine, thou.

I don't want to use a windows build with wine, don't know why, but i don't like it. I like native.

greetings

No idea? Anyone?
I could use the console-edition. But blendigo got some problems with linux. No matter if i check Use Gui or not, it tries to open up indigo (GUI). Which ends up with:

Code: Select all

Fatal Error: Mismatch between the program and library build versions detected. [...]
.
So i need to export it, switch to a terminal an start indigo_console <scene>.igs manually every time i want to render it. Which is abit annoying.

Are you running Fedora? There appears to be a problem with Fedora and it's wxgtk libraries. I tried Fedora 8 and had the same issue, don't know about 9. I switched to Ubuntu Hardy and it works fine now. ??
