How to save a 16 bit or 32bit Rendered image

Post by Doug Armand » Wed Dec 15, 2010 4:31 am

How does one save a 16bit or 32 bit image?.

I'm talking about using the Render/Save Image option in the Indigo GUI. Though if someone knows how to do this using Blendigo I'd be even happier.

I've tried saving png, tif and EXR. For some reason the EXR's just seem to turn out pure white.

Anyway it would be nice if at least a 16 bit version was available - helps with post-pro in PShop :))

EXR should work. If it's pure white, did you try to change the display exposure in photoshop?

Your right using exposure in Pshop works with the EXR - any chance of 16 bit for the others?

Hey if you don't ask you don't get right?
