Well, i hadent tried yet b/c of limited memory on the ps3, but perhaps i shall install linux on it and run indigo, just found some serious proof at the power of the cell chip.

its from the folding@home project.

ok, the sse would defently be a problem, but if you removed the sse i don't see why indigo woudlent be able to use all the cores. My understanding was that Linux just treats every individual spu as a different core (2 penguins as it detects multi core, then 6 penguins one for each core).

It a to severe hassle, even for everyone in the industry....
it's just extreme hard to get anything going on it at all
