Oscar's sketching thread
Didn't want to post more sketches in the rendering section as they can hardly be considered... renders. Hopefully it will be interesting anyway

WOW
Most of us here are waiting impatiently for Indigo to evolve, while others go further and evolve themselves!
Render time?

Re: Oscar's sketching thread
Heh, this was probably about 5 hours including the paper sketch it was based on. :/
I'll get much faster with practice though , the goal is 1 - 2 hours so that it becomes more efficient to do a few renders like these than actually building the model and do real renders. Normally the workflow in the design world is probably rough sketches -> detailed sketches/2D renders -> 3D renders. Whereas my workflow has the 3D modelling quite early.
The last step might be a (real) clay model in scale 1:8. We'll see if I actually get to that point with this project or if that will have to wait a bit. We have the clay and tools at uni, it's just that it takes a huuuuuge amount of time to get it right.

Thanks! No, this was done using a simple 0.4 fineliner.
