Req: display_period overwrite using XML

Post by suvakas » Sat Feb 10, 2007 12:24 am

Would be good if we could set this from exporter instead of editing the *.ini file all the time. Since the bloom effect is largely affected by how offten the imagebuffer gets updated, then i think this option really needs an access from XML. Don't want to manually edit the ini every time i use bloom.

Or maby it works already?
I tested <display_period>sec</display_period> with no luck.

Any feedback on this would be great!

Thanks!

Yup,
I'll add the new stuff to renderer_settings soon, next release perhaps.

Also - no hurry 8)

Suvakas

ps.
Do you have an idea of how to name the tag's?
If <display_period>sec</display_period> is good, then well.. i would not have to delete this stuff from my exporter code and it would just work in some future build. (yup..already put it in without testing first. For some reason i thought that it's there already. :) ).

Generally the tag will just have the same name as the setting, so yes, 'display_period'
