it´s in the log
"325946 Polys, 219617 Verts" for the object
but Indigo means:
simple3d mesh vert mem used: 10.025MB (219005 verts)
simple3d mesh tri mem used: 4.675MB (204265 tris)

Dont know why..

I assume your using Indigo 0.6 by the exporter version you listed. If that is correct, you should consider using Indigo 0.7 test 5 I think there have been some optimizations if I remember right to the kd tree.

Not too long ago I exported a 600,000+ Verts by 600,000+ Faces uvsphere in Blender and loaded it up in Indigo 0.7 test 5 without any problems. It used about 1.5 gb of ram or so to export from Blender / load up in Indigo.

Works fine here. No problems at all.
I'm using Indigo 07_test5, 3ds Max 8 and Maxigo and i'm exporting to obj format. I also had several large applications open and i only have 1 GB of memory. I think you must be doing something wrong.

Nice render ;)
My hope was that it works with 07t5, but I have problems with my old maxexpoerter and the new Indigo version.
Where to find your plugin? I´ve just found a movie on:

Looks great :D
But I think, it more looks like a sponge than a cloud ;)
A sponge with lots of minisponges that are floating around it....

Don't worry, that's the very same principle at work here. For instance the dropoff shape is obviously spherical here, one would use smthing different for a cloud :)
