[BUG] exporter 0.6 t6 for blender

Post by Jacco » Sun Nov 12, 2006 5:56 am

hello, I wanted to tell you all about something we noticed in the indigo 0.6 t6 exporter recently.
It crashes sometimes, while rendering.
I have a suspicion that it happens when using .exr maps since it allways happens with my car, where I use a .exr map
I though you'd like to know.

Thats isn't an exporter problem, sounds like you may be running short on RAM.

I'm starting to think I am. skypa managed it on an even bigger resolution because he made two computers do it.

It's possible. Mine crashed, but I did have 2 renders running simultaneously.

I'll do a single render later. It shouldn't crash when it runs out of ram though, unless I'm using the ram and swap completely(since I've got a gig of ram it seems slightly unlikely).

I ran out of RAM yesterday, I have one gig, and I want at least 2.

Yeah, but the scene isn't massively complex. Or at least it doesn't look like it is. I've rendered scenes with objects >400k faces without a problem before.
