Funny Sky?

Post by joegiampaoli » Sun Nov 12, 2006 9:25 pm

I don't know if this has been discussed or discovered before, I have been working with this scene for quite a bit now, playing with textures and saw that my sky color is affected by textures I use, it seems that the darker the texture is the brighter my sky becomes, here are 2 samples rendered with 10 minutes each, exported with same settings, only thing I changed is textures.

When I use a darker texture sky does change a bit more.

To really see the sky color diference it is best to save both imgs inside a folder and then use img viewer by clicking next-previous arrows

May be due to automatic exposure from Reinhard tone mapping.
