Cant render this :(

Post by kikeonline » Wed May 21, 2008 1:01 pm

Hi guys,

I dont know why but everytime I try to render this blender file Indigo fails to do so.

I get a C++ message that says that indigo need to terminate.

You can download the blender file here :

http://zeldaoca.tripod.com/gordastudioLAST.blend

Right Click > save

thanks

Works fine for me here.
I opened the blend, clicked Export -> blendigo, and clicked Render.

There's probably too many faces for your machine to handle. Remove the Subsurf modifiers from those meshes . . . some of them are too heavy as it is (no pun intended).

Just to bring it at the point:

Atm the C++ crash message is 99% related to not enough RAM on the executed machine!!

Rendering in console mode and a reduced SuperSampling to 1 will save you some RAM...

Otherwise spend some Bucks for some extra RAM, its so cheep atm ;)

Oh, should've mentioned i'm doing indigo x64 with 4GB of RAM.

Buy some more RAM, move to 64-bit OS, etc.
