When enabling it in the INI file, I simply get blue and white specks, spread over the image. (I waited about 10 minutes to see if convergence just takes much much longer with it enabled.)
Disable it, and the same scene renders fine.
Thoughts?
My scene isn't dependent on polarization or anything - I was just curious to turn it on - if i'm not mistaken, the render will be closer to reality with it on, right?

Yes, polarisation is highly broken

Don't use it

Fascinating then.
What exactly DO I get with it enabled right now? It almost looks like I get edges of things that might be affected. Some interesting pretty things.

What you get, is 'undefined behaviour'

fluorescence would be nice too. Internal its a spectral renderer so it should only need some matrix magic right?
