Hello,
These are my last 9t3 renders (happended a month ago) who quite disappointed me. I think they're wrong. Are these known problems ?

What's wrong exactly? Those edges on round parts?

NORMALSMOOTHING
- nothing more to say.
If you activated normalsmoothing, you'll need to add an Edgesplit modifier, to avoid smoothing problems
Btw, newest Version isn't 0.9t3 but 0.9t6

On the 1st one :
Nope. Normals are per face, these faceted rounded parts are OK. What's wrong is the straight reflection on the inner part of the thing. You can see straight lines... which is not featured by the model...
On the 2nd one, they're obvious...

What straight reflection ? Edges?
I'd say turn on normal smoothing like Kram wrote.

Can you be more specific then what reflections? Mark them down in Paint or something

Sorry, that ALSO is a non-normal-smoothing thing.
Look into a faceted mirror, and it'll look the same.
You can use the Edgesplit modifier, to split SOME edges, and others NOT.
No other way to fix that.

I think IOR is the cause of this.
Seems normal to me.
Lower the IOR and you should get less of those.

Normal smoothing.
Period.
You're an idiot for insisting otherwise.

I think the straight edged reflections are caused by dodgy normals on the faces. I think your modelling program is spitting out crappy geometry
