Light question

Post by thesquirell » Wed Mar 09, 2016 4:01 am

Just a quick question about something. In the photo below there are two light planes, emitting light. In the primary ray cast there are no shadows, but in the secondary, bounced light, there are. Is this supposed to happen, or is it a bug? Emitting objects shouldn't cast shadows, or at least, not so visible?

Emitting objects cast shadows just like any other objects. The light planes just cast light in their normal direction, which is why you're getting a shadow above them.
