PK20

Post by Kåre » Fri Dec 29, 2006 12:55 am

Hi everybody!
I've been using indigo since one of the first versions, but I havn't done any 3D for a long while... Finally in the holiday I got some time so here's just a small picture I made yesterday.
Image
The chair is the PK20 designet by the Danish designer Poul Kjærholm. It's a quite simple scene but I have to start out easely
Hope you like it!

:o Very Nice! :D
One small thing: there is no smooth normals on the table.. :)
But other than that it's perfect 8)

What software are you using?

Oh and, what country are you from?
is it Norway, Sweeden or Denmark?

Hey, thanks for the nice comments.

I'm using blender for modeling, and I hoped no one noticed that I forgot to smooth the table

And I'm from Denmark :D

Very nice kare, I like the tip of the camera!

Just a tip if you didn't know, to smooth the table more easily just smooth the edge faces and split them from the rest of the table so it stays a nice 90 degrees. I found this out ages ago when trying to model a machine with curved surfaces but meeting at 90 degrees to the other surfaces.
"To be, or not to be" That is a question?

Hey atmmat. Thanks for the tip, it's quite nice. In this case the edges are beveled so it would smooth fine if I had just remembered to press the smooth button, but I can defenately use the tip some other time. :)
