..though (as you ALL know) i'm not satisfied at all with the floor mat..
Thank Kwisten for the postprocessing technique, and Whaat for the polyreducer Sketch plugin and the UVmap tools: as you can see, half of the problems have been solved

Thank you Simon! I'm not happy for the joints.. I cannot achieve a bumped surface using a blending of two materials.....URGH!

Very nice Pibuz

I love the vases.
Maybe alligning the verticals in the perspective would be even nicer.
I haven't used the' shift lens' feature in skindigo yet, but I think it could be useful for this.
And oh yeah..cough..cough.

I'll try re-rendering with vertical lines, you're right about that..
Concerning displacement... I don't think i'd be so necessary, here: if you're referring to the tiles, actually..
I think i'd encounter the same problem. I think the problem is that a material (white one) starts just where the other one (black one) ends, so this is the cause of all of my problems. I could simply make a bump map blending in Photoshop the tile textures and the black/white bump map, and then make an exponent map in the same way: i think i'd be sufficient to get the result i'm aiming to..
Know what? I'm gonna do that!
..i just wanted to figure THIS out, cos this time there is a simple workaround, but in other cases it could be much more difficult...
Sorry, one question: which version of Indigo/skindigo do you use? Cos i'm very very very interested in the use of displacement, but i knew there were some issues to be fixed (instancing not allowed, plane surfaces not displaceable...): is there a version which fixed this? Did i miss it?

Ok, guys: tried another POV, and another workaround for the floor tiles, sadly without any good result.. I followed Kwisten's suggestion of making a two-points perspective, and i must say he was right. So here's the result.

Hi BbB! Thanks a lot really: i'm a big fan of yours, so hearing a compliment from you is quite satisfying!
So: both vases are pure phong, with very very subtle bump; each vase has a slight different IOR and exponent, to achieve a minor variation; the light sources are simply a big emitter (the one behind the curtain) and two IES lights over the vases. Done. Pretty simple, indeed..

Simple but effective. Would sit perfectly well in any decoration magazine.
