Well done!
Looks really great!

A bit strange:
-the star's and plants' materials are a bit too oversaturate... They immediately show the cg background. (Though, that might be wanted^^)
-Hard to find, I know, but the sand should be a higher res. It looks strange, that the close sand is that big...
-The Buddha and the stones have a texture on them, which don't really match for underwater. (Exception for the stones: If this isn't sea water, the moss can be correct, but that doesn't explain the lichens (hope, the word is correct...) on the Buddha)

nice concept for the picture...

but dude having so much CPU Power, why don't you used some SSS for the Plants, and also an slightly SSS water so the rays can be seen...

Also some plant parts, plankton, debris stuff in the water would enrich this scene =>link

I like very much the idea.
The budha's texture is very well done (although I guess you find that kind of moss in open air rather than undersea).
My first crit would be that this budha seems to rest in some big aquarium rather than under sea (the water is so clear, shadows are very sharp).
In general, I really do like that kind of scenes, so, keep up the good work !

Very nice render.
I agree with the dr, a bit of scattering in the water, perhaps with a bit of absorption of red and green light would look good.

@Kosmokrator:
Hope you don't mind but I added your sand texture to the database:
http://indigomaterials.uk.to/textures/category/5

@All:
I'd like to see the database being used for sharing things like this. I've noticed there a fair few registered users there, but nobody is contributing anything. It doesn't matter how good/bad/basic etc you think your contributions might be, someone may find them useful - the more the better!

I agree with most of the crits so far, but not all.

To me, the texture on the Buddha is fine. No one knows where it was before it ended up under water or how long it's been there.

The size of the sand grain is fine as well. Some sand is finer, some is more course. Who's to say what it correct for the location of your render.

I do agree that some SSS overall would help. Both for the water and for individual objects as well. The corral, plants and starfish need more detail. They almost look as though they we molded from plastic. The edges of the starfish are too sharp. A bump map on the plants and other objects would help as well.

Over all - very nice render. I wish I had your hardware!!!

Should be working... but I realise there's not that much "help"/documentation for it.
If you find any problems or need help, please post in my thread for the DB in the other forum, and I'll look for a solution for you.
