Here is a project I did some time ago using Yaf(a)ray, I did a try with Indigo and here is the result.

Everything is illuminated with mesh lights, external night landscape is also an emitter mesh with an albedo image. Once again I used the camera settings as tonemap parameter.

The rendering time is about 12h for the first one with Goldorak and 32h for the second one, all rendered on a core 2 duo 2.6

I did some postpro to remove noise dispite of the rendering time.

Edit : i see some black edges on the armchairs though. Did you use the edgsplit modifier ?

Yes, fantastic. I really like the colour and feel (not sure about having goldorak there thought). I think Stur is right. You should subsurf your chairs once and tune down the bump a little.

Indeed I think there are some issues with the smooth settings, I will try to fix that.

Hey Enrico Nice work, just a question, what post pro did you use and how to remove noise? They look pretty clean to me and not that blurry.
