Warm interior

Post by enricocerica » Fri Dec 28, 2007 6:50 pm

Hi,

Here is my last project mainly centered on light (exit portal) and UV texturing.

Modelled with Blender

Here is a higher res version (1200x1200) : http://www.myline.be/myline/3D/268_1_high.jpg

Very nice! My only crit at the moment is the texture of the wardrobe in the foreground. Looks a bit to sharp for me. ;)

I think it's a really successful image. But I agree with the texture on the cupboard. Get a more natural wood texture and you got yourself a photo.

Hi all,

Thanks for your comments, I made some corrections on the uv for the wardrobe, cupboard or garde-robes (in french), not yet the best material but better then the previous one. If somebody has a great oak material, large enough and not too closeup, I will appreciate.

The render time was about 11h on a core 2 duo 2.6, I got few noise and used neat image to reduce it.

If the wood texture wouldn't look that strange (somehow artificially looking high contrast and such...) and that emitter in the corner wouldn't be that uniform, I'd say. that's a photo!

Thans again to all,

I made some changes on the base wood texture and generated a new image, this should be better now.

The emitter in the corner is produced by the sun light.
