the Dofeffect makes them looking like neon-lights with extreme bloom xD
they look nice.
maybe, you could rerender them with 0.9, filled and buring, if you, Ono, implent volume light, there, already :D

A bit too bloomed for me, but, it's a very cool realistic render.

wow - very nice tato!
you used the standard bloom of violet right? if yes, try the diffraction-limited bloom.
oh btw ... normal smoothing on the metal-caps would have been nice :P

uhm, the same way as the gausian: you can choose it.
At least, with the newest version...

hi tato,

if you have rerdavies' violet version (http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... php?t=1973)
you can choose wether you want "gaussian" or "diffraction-limited" bloom.
You see the metal caps on top of those lighters? the highly reflective ones? it looks like those have normal-smoothing=off.
... Oh, and the black-plastic parts are too dull i think - i would give them stronger and sharper reflections (ior=1.5, expo=800).
keep it up tato! :D
