why do you everytime make a link to the gallery, DaveClone?
It looks cool, but you (or one of your doules) should
1) remove the hair (and the eyes, I guess) from the UV-map and
2) fix the UV...

I think you're right, Mark. I might indeed do that. And, perhaps, model completely separate eyes and hair. And a bump and exponent map too. I feel gooooood.

yes
try the flowing for the skin:
use the texture as difuse transmitter and a standard xskin mat as standard skin.
Blend them
-> Textured SSS
I got it working for neepneeps scene
I'll post the result soonish, but it's still pretty noisy

@Anthony:
My reference images were simply a photo of my face from the front and one from the right and then the use of a free program called Faceworx which you can use to map the pics onto a 3D head by adjusting curves and export to .obj files.
You can find Faceworx here:
http://www.looxis.com/en/k90.Faceworx_Y ... photos.htm
It's very easy to use.

Wow DaveC! That's interesting!

A nice reflective jug by your head would fit perfectly! lol

Just KD, hehehe. Great work.

Alvaro
