Beach House Patio
I was looking at some of these other works getting exceptionally green with envy. I figured I'd put up my only piece so far (3 months of practice) that I somewhat like. As if it needs to be said, you guys are brilliant and suggestions/critiques/et cetera are welcomed.

Re: Beach House Patio
Nice start!
There are always some details that can be improved... the ice cubes for instance are pretty even and floating to high, and the top one seems pretty artistic! I'd also expect them to be more transparent, they almost look like little stones.
Also the glass of the glasses seems pretty thick, like some centimeters. In Indigo, real world measures are very important.
But what I don't really get is how your scene is lit... the foreground seems pretty dull, no way to really say something about the texture of the wood, the wall. Did you try different film types in Indigo? Your scene needs more contrast.
Is the background composited or are you using an actual HDRI? With a beautiful sun like this, why there are no looong shadows, sun reflections in the drink/glasses, or even some caustics (caustics on glass?! Never tried that.)?
When you are happy with the overall image, it is really the details that sell it. Perhaps you could add a towel, a magazine/book (why the glasses?), an ashtray, flip-flops hidden under the sun lounger, drops of water on the outside of your glass/on your table, or slightly bend one arm of the glasses etc. etc...
Nice atmosphere btw!
