yeah but preferably get the installation cdrom for your motherboard or see the constructor's site. Beware of some *zzzzing* tools.

free tools are often waaay better than the crap that goes with hardware... sad but true, and there is no risk in monitoring ur temps...

I got mine for less than 3000 euro (2.8 octocore, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HD in total, 8800GT 512Kb.). As long as you don't buy Mac Ram and Mac hard drives you can keep the end price low.
3000 euro is still a lot of money, but than I still drive a rusty old car from 1995.

octocore - u mean two quads? i prefer to build pc myself...honestly
