1st image is superb - with longer rendering that is to remove the noise.zed_pmd wrote:Thanks everyone for your comments.
I prepared a little update.
Interior render was made in Photomatix with 5 shots with different exposures.
Best regards,
Zed

Get a higher-resolution map.

What if I want to change the position? Can I move the map position to fit my own angle?Godzilla wrote:Get a higher-resolution map.

A dirty hack: Open the map in Photoshop and offset it by a certain percentage. 25% is 90 degrees, so use that as a base point for "rotating" it.PowerMax wrote:What if I want to change the position? Can I move the map position to fit my own angle?Godzilla wrote:Get a higher-resolution map.

It works but it's very annoying, like you said, because then if you have things that are aligned orthagonally (to the X and Y axes), then that all goes to shit and it becomes hard to precisely edit your model without rotating it back into place.Borgleader wrote:(I belive this also works)StompinTom wrote:A dirty hack: Open the map in Photoshop and offset it by a certain percentage. 25% is 90 degrees, so use that as a base point for "rotating" it.PowerMax wrote: What if I want to change the position? Yes however you could for instance:StompinTom wrote: It works but it's very annoying, like you said, because then if you have things that are aligned orthagonally (to the X and Y axes), then that all goes to shit and it becomes hard to precisely edit your model without rotating it back into place.
1)Model your scene normally of course.
2)Rotate it
3)Hit render/export
4)Undo rotation
5)Save your maya/blender/3dsmax file
Inconvience: you have to remember the rotation angle between renders
Advantage: you can edit your models without them being misaligned which sometimes makes things more difficult.

Yeah, it'd still be easier with a simple "Env Rot" field!Borgleader wrote:Yes however you could for instance:StompinTom wrote: It works but it's very annoying, like you said, because then if you have things that are aligned orthagonally (to the X and Y axes), then that all goes to shit and it becomes hard to precisely edit your model without rotating it back into place.

Aw now I feel silly. It's just been missing from Blendigo then.
