Exterior
Great scene BbB. While I was looking at it here is what came to mind:
-plants in top picture appear to be floating, perhaps the concrete wall needs something at the top to show that it is different from the concrete behind it
-this building looks very clean compared to the one beside it
-I like the architecture although it is very unusual as I do not see that type of construction where I live, the overhang of that front room worries me, I would expect to see supports there but as I said, that architecture is unusual around my location
But let me say again.....great work!

hi BbB - i looked at this repo and its really rich but most of the models are .max - how do du import .max into blender? and if i import grass patch into blender - it looses texture - did u texture every single leaf of if afterwards in blender? whats the trick to texture multiple same object in same way (not same faces but groups of faces)?BbB wrote: the grass is mesh. It's a round patch of grass in 3ds format I found here (basically a repository of all free plant models on the web - they also have

cheers and great work btw but...nothing else is expected from u
Hi mate,
That's right. You can't use the .max models unless you own 3DS Max. But you can use the .3ds models. That's what I did. As for the grass patch, I just did a camera projection for the UVs. The projection does not have to be perfect if you're going to look at it from a distance. Of course, it won't stand up to close scrutiny though.

Hi CCJ. Sorry I missed your message. I used camera tone mapping for the sunlit images, reinhard for the HDR shot. And yes, I'm still using a Q6600, though my fan has become quite noisy of late - need to do a bit of maintenance/vacuum cleaning, I think. Well, it was a cut-price quad so I can't complain. Have you bought yours yet?
