A little relax

Post by Pibuz » Wed May 13, 2009 11:48 am

..I often do tests, and I post them in the WIP section. Then I wait some time to see if i feel like something's missing. It's been like a month since I rendered this one, and no feeling is fading in, so I guess here is my final image. :D
Little postpro for the chromatic aberration and color correction, nothing more.
The scene was rendered using the layerblending of 2 emitters, and the rendering time was surprisingly fast (I remember it was fast, but I don't remember how long it took... )
Maybe some mat tests with displacement on the chair will follow, you never know

In the meanwhile, enjoy this one!

Nice and clean as always :)
Altough where the dvd covers is, it's a little dark for my taste

It's a very nice image Pibuz. Mmmm, what kind of movies could that be, with fluo colours on the covers ?

Great work dude, just wanted to ask, how did you light the rest of the scene besides the use of the side lamp. Skylight, mesh emitter... what? Very nice subtle clean lighting. I like i like.

great work!

Hi Matsta! There are only two emitters in the scene, the lamp and a rectangular emitting panel on the left, simulating an open window. I tried to have sort of an indirect lighting effect from the side, so this appeared to me to be the simplest of the possible methods. No sky, no sun. This really had an impact on rendering times.
