Thanks to the few people giving me some C&C up till now. Thanks to skypa, IanC and Framedworld for all the help with indigo. Thanks to Fried for helping me out with the rims, and to everyone from #SMC and #Blenderchat for all the directions, C&C and moral support. If I forgot someone: "sorry".

Nice one Jacco, looks good.
Some C&C:
* the headlights would look good as glass instead of ?chrome? as you have them. have a look at radiance's car for an example:
http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... .php?t=647
(actually the red lights seem to be glass, but not the top headlights?)
* the image is still pretty noisy.. perhaps try turning off bidir for this scene, it may help. hard to say, worth a try tho.
* you can see through the wheels, i think you need some kind of disc brakes or something

Thank for the comments. I acctualy checked the headlights: due to the sun from my .exr env_map it reflects like chrome but is acctualy glass.
btw, indigo 0.6 t6 for blender keeps crashing after a while when I try rendering this car. IanC had the same and I pmed you about it.
The wheels, I was to lazy I guess XD
Which version d'you like best?

Very nice

One crit though, the windshield looks too thick and it makes the model look like a miniature.

haha, maybe it is. someone allready pointed out that it looks like a matchbox car.
I had to stard over porm a certain point because I lost some files. I had a realy nice windshield before, but you know what they say: "the copy is never better than the original"

Looks really nice.
With the windshield, does it have a thickness? If it is just a single face thick, copy and move it, and flip the normals of the copy. This will give you a thickness. Very important (check radiances car, and the change when he added thickness)

It's a cube, so the windshield has thickness.
fine I'll lose the blur
