Electronic Actuator

Post by matsta » Sat Oct 20, 2007 11:51 pm

Hey guys

After roughly one and a half days work, here it is, the completed, but still to be textured (by BbB) Electronic Actuator. This was by far my best experience with 3D to date. the reference made modeling a dream and, with the sheer complexity, a challenge at the same time. Much thanks for all the comments in the WIP thread, it is greatly appreciated. The final render was done with Ono's latest 9.10, and baked overnight with a final spp of 6400 roughly. Then taken into violet were i tweeked contrast and exposure, as well as adding bloom.

hope u enjoy

the quality is superior to the photo by far! - and that's *un*-textured O.o

LOL!!! :D

matsta:

You did a great job! Really nice!

I like the plain material-less look on it, makes a good sample model of the object. And the contrast of the chromed screws......it's good....
