Nice start! But the biggest mistake i can see so far is the texture of the wall behind the bed. I think the texture-map shows shadows and you should avoid maps with shadows on it, because they don't fit into your lighting situation

It could be a photographic wallpaper.
The thing that disturbs me a bit is the background. It's too pale. I would add some more contrast to it.

I think that also,the stone wall needs something bumb. And red at the bed does not fit also. The background picture with the tree is much too bright.
Otherwise a very beautiful picture.
