I find the DoF in this shot a bit out of place - the viewer's eye is drawn to the doors at the top of the stairs, but they're out of focus, so its kind of a "let down". Rather than change the DoF, however, I'd suggest putting a small eye-catching
center of interest partway up the staircase (some random object, like a potted flower or somesuch) to keep the viewer's interest (and maybe even tell a bit of a story in the process...

)
The other aspect that I found a bit unrealistic is the extreme "flare" or bright spot on the walls around the neon light fixtures. It looks like there are spotlights shining at them from accross the scene. This may just be the way indigo's rendering them, which I guess must be "realistic" - they just don't look that way to me. Kinda distracting.
Very nice work, otherwise, depending on the target audience and intent of the piece.
