Ok, I have Indigo 64 bit installed. If I run Indigo from my desktop I get the white text on the black background:
"Indigo Renderer v2.4.13, Windows 64-bit build. Copyright....etc etc"
Just noticed that when I hit the render button for my scene (in Sketchup), the scene exports and as Indigo loads up, the white text on the black background just before the scene builds says:
"Indigo Renderer v2.4.13, Windows 32-bit build. Copyright....etc etc"
The point being it seems to be loading a 32-bit build of Indigo? Is that possible, bearing in mind the only version installed on my PC is the 64 bit version? Or is it just meaningless text and I should stop worrying?
Thanks,
Indigo 64-bit loads Indigo 32-bit?

You can check if its a 32 bit app in the Taskmanager.
Each 32bit app has a *32 behind the name in the processes window.

Re: Indigo 64-bit loads Indigo 32-bit?
Good tip, thanks - just checked the processes tab of the task manager, it is indeed running as Indigo.exe *32
Anyone any ideas what the issue is? Why is it running as a 32-bit build when I export? I've tried setting skindigo to point at the 64-bit exe file in Sketchup but it still loads a 32-bit version.
Crucially, how much speed am I likely to be losing running in 32-bit mode (if any)

Actually not, simply try to reinstall the 64bit build!Bosseye wrote:Any ideas what the issue is? Why is it running as a 32-bit build when I export?
Exporter use the last installed Indigo version... I bet the Error sits in front of the Keyboard
You also can check what version from what folder there is running by righclicking > properties

Maybe Try installing the last 2.6.1 version... it should run fine too with latest exporters!

Heh, tried that - I uninstalled and re downloaded the 64-bit build and reinstalled - no change, still loads the 32-bit version.Zom-B wrote:Actually not, simply try to reinstall the 64bit build!

Might try 2.6.1 then, I've been holding off as the stable 2.4.13 version works great.

Ok, installed 2.6.1 indigo and skindigo - works now, exporting correctly to a 64-bit build
I suspect the problem is that my IT guys have set me up two 'program files' folders on the C drive, one 32-bit one 64-bit and I guess Skindigo got itself confused no matter how many times I updated the link and pointed to the 32-bit version (or as you say, the error was sat staring at the monitor the whole time...

Either way, Cheers Zom-b! Legend.
