Exit Portal Material doubt
Exit Portal Material doubt
Hi, I have a doubt. Lets say I have a render from inside a house (interior scene) and have some big glass windows, do I have to create a plane with a EXIT PORTAL material covering the hole of the window? What I want is to have the glass material (the effect) in the window but with the light coming from outside. Thanks in advance.

Re: Exit Portal Material doubt
What you can do is create a plane behind your glass with the exit portal material and make sure it's normal is facing the camera. It should in theory let light in, but not out.
Also make sure your glass object has volume

If not extremely necessary, I'd suggest you not to have thick glass, to avoid longer render times.
For me Thin Glass does the job most of the times.
