I am using Blender 2.49, Blendigo 2.4.8. and Indigo 2.4.10 and no matter what I do I cannot change the environment from black. I have tried changing the background color, and I even tried using an environment map, the back is simply stuck at black.
Is there something I am doing wrong or is this some kind of bug? If so is there a workaround or a way to fix this?
Blendigo - Unable To Change Background Color
Re: Blendigo - Unable To Change Background Color
There might be a gain value attached with the background setting, try cranking it up (100k, 1M). It can happen that a background looks black when it's overall energy is much lower than the one of present emitters. The effect can be amplified with the Reinhard (auto) tonemapping, wich is bad to tune lights in general.

Hi Kristof,
Can you please provide a screenshot of your Environment tab in Blendigo and a bit of detail about other light sources you have set up in your scene ?
Cheers,
Doug.
