I use:
Indigo Renderer v 3.0.17 windows 64 built
Maxigo
I created a shearable folder so the two computers have access to the scene
Also when i try to network render a test scene it works fine
The scene is a simple teapot without any material

When will I find what to write here?

Open the igs in notepad and check line 12. Something's wrong with the xml tags.

Is there any way in order to solve this problem or not?

Try to delete the content of the 3 networ cache folders you find under: C:\Users\YOUR-USER-NAME\AppData\Roaming\Indigo Renderer\cache
But your version 3.0.17 misses quite some network render fixes or improvements, so there is a GREAT chance that actual version doesn't suffer from that issue...
Here just the network enhancements & fixes you missed since then:
Code: Select all
3.2.10
* Added pause after error for network slave before trying to reconnect to master.
* Fixed issue with network rendering across Windows and Unix machines.
* Made Network manager print a nicer message when no floating licence file is found.
3.2.9
* Fixed problem with realtime displacement changes and network rendering.
* Hopefully fixed issue where read of network_licence.sig failed and stopped the render.
* Fixed crash when adding a new material while network rendering, then applying it.
* Fixed problem with correlation with network rendering with path tracing.
* Added back and improved the network slave shortcut on OS X.
3.2.5
* Options dialog now warns when using "localhost" as the hostname for the Network Manager.
3.2.3
* Fixed network rendering bug with DiscoveryPacketListener.
3.2.0
* Fixed bug causing random network connection failures.
* When 'use floating licence' is checked in options dialog, 'use network manager' is automatically checked and disabled.
* Networking floating licence info frame is visible again now.
* Made the network manager put a time-stamp before every log message.
* The network manager now displays a few lines of the latest log messages from the connected slaves.
3.0.22
* Fixed bug with changing cam tone mapping response path during network rendering.
I don't think that there will be any support for so old versions of Indigo 10 months old and 19 versions late.
And I know that the 3D Max Exporter situation is quite "difficult" atm...

Hi marketos,
try to disable the metadata writing if there is such an option in Maxigo. If there isn't such an option just remove the following block from the IGS file above, since it is optional, and faulty reportedly:
Code: Select all
<metadata>
<uid>1</uid>
<name>Metadata</name>
<exporter>Maxigo 3.0.7, 3DS Max Release number:14000</exporter>
<author></author>
<description></description>
<created_date>20/5/2012 10:53:22 μμ</created_date>
<platform></platform>
<exporter_specific></exporter_specific>
</metadata>
Perhaps are the "μμ" bits causing the error ?
If it persists, you would be welcome to load the scene into one Indigo session and pack it for sharing using the "Tool > pack Indigo scene" menu. You could then either attach the resulting PIGS to your post or send it to
support<at>indigorenderer<dot>com for debugging.

I will give it a try. And by the way μμ stands for pm in Greek

It didn't work. I don't think that has to do with the scene because i have created many scenes and none of them worked. Only the testscenes

How annoying... did you eventually verify that the error with Indigo 3.4.0 was the same ? I assume that both the slave and the master were updated.
My juridiction stops there as I own a single node. Still you are welcome to share the scene, that will provide you with more means to get support.
