Interior & exit poral

Post by MiLeR666 » Sun Jan 06, 2008 11:22 pm

This is my first interior in Indigo, and my question is, how can I use exit portal and how can I get it textured ( if it possible ). Im using Blender 2.5.
17h 45 min and still rendering.

Sory for my english

This scene looks familiar(ish) :)

To your question: put your exit portals behind every single window or opening. (Not behind the door, as there is an other room, but everywhere, where there's no scene behind ;) )
the normal should point through the window, into the direction, the light is supposed to flow.
And it's invisible, so, you can't texture it ;)

ah, I forgot:
A simple plane is enough. And you should make sure, that they fully cover the holes, so that you don't see a part, where there is no portal.
Those parts would render black ;)
