While this is, as most of your renders are, fantastic stuff, I believe that last render would benefit from being enclosed in a very slight SSS or misty atmosphere. Just to match up with the slight dustiness of the background. Great stuff. Keep the coming

@stompintom : I agree with you, in the last picture you can clearly see the background doesn't fit with the foreground. But in the final scene, I will only use the environment map for lighting purpose, in should be blurred and blend much better into the scene. Well, I hope.
@Davec : thanks, and good idea ! I will surely try that.
@Kram : It's just a training matter !
Well, for now, nothing much : I tried to model some coffe beans.
Suggestions ? (sss ?)
Not perfect but as they won't be in focus in the final scene, that should make it.

They are excellent except for the lighter colour in the middle which doesn't seem to appear in the reference images. And apart from the fact that they're all identical

interesting is, that it's actually reversed!
the lower pic shows a darker part in the middle, the upper one shows no blend at all...
so, reverse the blend, and everything should be fine, kinda. Maybe, also decrease the difference between the two mats.
This will be one of the greatest renders, 'til now, in Indigos young history

@kram : Ooooh, you're putting pressure on my shoulders.
You're right anyway about the coffee beans.
Here is yet another coffee mill, even more vintage (rather use my own models).
Even though it is separated in different pieces, the main one is "only" 10k vertices, and makes blendigo crash (memory error).
So I had to split it in two different pieces.
10k vertices isn't that much for a single mesh, any idea how to avoid blendigo to crash ?
(because for the moment I can't use blender sculpt tool)
