Quite nice!
I would change the color of the sofas to something other than this white/gray. It should liven up the place a bit.
Also i would add some kind of background other than just a sky. Feels like the room is hanging on a cloud or something. That you can step right into emptiness.

Well..i don't know.. from google maybe?

Why does it have to be big? You don't have to set it as an env map.

yea but by big i mean moderatly sized... not even 800x600. not gna add a backdrop if it detracts from the overall realism of the scene. :S

hey guys having some problems with getting that backdrop to work, once again i am getting weird texture mapping errors. i really dont understand these. i uv mapped the surface in blender and applied a blender texture. i then applied the same image to a diffuse mat in blendigo. this is what i got

the "Finished" Version was great
I know, it's a HUGE amount of work, but what'd be, with modelling it?
ah, I wish, Deus' Landscape thingy was finished - you could use that, to easily get where you want
maybe combined with Dr Bouvier Leduc's Leave technique

thanks kram :S really boggled with this texture. im so tempted to switch to max and maxigo :S no idea why but i think it will just make for easier modelling. such a mission to learn :S
