Edit: btw, blender's fluid sim looks amazingly stable

maybe try a lower rotational speed, so the bottom of the swirl would be closed (at least much thinner), it's not really obvious it's a swirl right now... other than that, rendering and baking resolution look ok to me

w00t! I have my new system!
I did a 4000 x 4000 Blender Internal render of a model with about 0.6 M polys, and it shaved 10 minutes off of the render time on my old 2.4 Ghz P4!
I'm getting the wireless internet set up later today, so Indigo tests are still to come.
[Edit] I'm doing a week long dogsitting job in May that will give me enough money to buy this case. Should keep my CPU icy cool!
