Evil Firefly Party in front of the Mirror

The tiles on the floor have way to much space between each other!
Also a strange triangle/shadow on the top left shelf...
I would prefer some color flavor for a kitchen... but this can be solved by props!
keep em commin :)

Yeah, firefly's are nasty :P
I shall fix the tiles, and they are to far from each other. It was some days since i rendered this picture, and i have been gone since so had not have the time to fix it.
And if it where a kitchen it would have some more variations in it ;)
But it's a bathroom, altough props are comming very soon.
Dont know what the triangle like shadow are there for, but i guess it has logical reasons. Nothing wrong with the mesh so it has to be a shadow.
Thanks for commenting :D

Yes, it's the light reflected on the wall by the mirror.
Thats why it's brighter.

Seems fully functional :)

What's the mirror material used ? How is the mirror made actually, simple plane or realistic ?

There you see, a logical reason :)
The mirror is modeled with thickness and all that.. how come?

Well then I am wondering the type of "metal" you are using for reflection... specially, I'm not sure that nkData is performing best here, just in case. I supp' I'd go for an opaque specular with a crazy ior value, but there are even more options to test with phong.

Really, just wondering :)

ps: also I think it would be best to make sure there is a safe gap between the glass and reflector, or not ?

Nope cause on usual mirrors the reflection layer is vapor-deposited on the glass, so no gap.

The mirror material is.
It's a phong with IOR of 100.
And exponent is 100000.
