I love the second render, heavy caustics involved ! Good balance of colors too. The first lacks readability because objects lines are merged.

Welcome pow !

Thanks a lot guys!
dakiru: I was going for a countryside feel for the scene, I'm glad to here that!

neoo: I noticed that one too. I tried making it brighter in photoshop but other portions of the image get too bright. So I just left it that way.

Nice renderings you got there Pow! The 2nd image is great. If you can make it a two point or one point perspective, it would be much nicer.

Thanks a lot for your comments, guys! I really appreciate. I'll try to refine my models and the materials and will have a look on the color values.

Jeff: Thanks for the pointer. Haven't read about that before (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspectiv ... erspective)

Here is another one I rendered tonight.

Greets,
Pow

p.s. sorry for the long filename, I was a bit drifted from the whine ;) Good Website!

The wire for the bulldog clip should be a bit fatter, I think, and the black plastic part wraps around the wire ends. Just sayin'!

Well, I like my test renders look somewhat presentable :)

This image was rendered at double this resolution (1050x2400) for 40 hours, 20k samples per pixel.
