This is just awesome - I would have thought it was a photograph

In fact to prove it can you post a wireframe, a polygraph test, a signed letter from your doctor and a signed letter from your mum just to prove that's not a photograph

Really awsome render and good furniture BRO !

Added 5 more tree models (and boosted the export time to 16 minutes), but I think the results are worth it.

~185,000,000 polygons. (There are trees surrounding the environment, not just the ones you see.)

My house is going to be located on a fairly large flat area a little to the right of this point of view.

Click for the 2000x1500 version.

Very nice render, well done!

Thanks everyone!

@Pibuz- Yes, the grass was done using blender particles, the trees were individually instanced (about 200 of them)

@Doug- I don't know about a view port wireframe because my graphics card would die (Everything is seen as a bounding box currently), but I'll do a quick clay render for you after this finished version is done cooking. :)

I was joking Godzilla :D I believe you when you say its a render. No wireframes required

In fact I showed it to my wife and she was not impressed - she asked me why I was showing her a badly composed photograph with too much vignetting!

But just to reiterate - I'm am very impressed with it - very photographic :D

So you're saying, that this all is actually a real geometry inside Blender ?

Impresses. And it is interesting in Cinema4D there is a support of particles.
I tried to make a grass but, having converted to ranges, began impossible to work in the long term.
Someone can share how to make such in Cinema4D.

@ Doug, I know, but I would still like to do some clay renders. :)

@ Suvakas, Yes it's all blender geometry, the grass is composed of 2 seperate meshes being instanced. The short clusters of grass (1500 polygons) are instanced ~ 200,000 times, and the tall clusters of grass (500 polygons) are instanced ~20,000 times. There are 6 separate tree models which have a total combined poly count of about ~2,500,000... and they are instanced about 15-40 times each. All things put together in a .Blend file = 450MB.. :(

I'm probably going to model the house in a separate (smaller) file, then import the final house model (With furniture and all) into this 450MB main file.
