Ah yes, I completely understand! Thanks for the explanation. Although I'd really love to see a feature such as dirtmaps/AO in Indigo.

Anyways, I photoshopped the render now, I think I might leave it with this. What do you guys think?

Bake an AO map with the 3D tool of your choice and use that baked map (image) as a blend map between your regular and dirt material :)

Hehe thanks for the tip, unfortunately that would be quite sluggish. Well here are the final images.
