living room + kitchen

Post by hstokholm » Wed Nov 22, 2006 9:43 am

Hey folks...

One of my friends is going to remove a wall in her house (can you say that :? ) and I am trying to make it in 3d so she can see how to place her furniture and where to cut the wall :)

So this is my progress so far :

I have some normal problems on the sofa, and there are a lot of other problems, but I will take care of them eventually :)

Heya hstokholm!

A good start to do your friend a favour. I dunno where you wanna go with
this, but I guess it will be a nice final when you're finished. Since it's a WIP
I'll stop here ... and because I haven't fixed my keyboard yet. :P :D ;)

Keep it up! ;o)

well right now I am just trying to get the modeling done... I just did those two renders so she could have a idea about how renderings from indigo look like.... Maybe I can finish this one when I am doing it for someone else

It's a kitchen alright, although at the moment it seems that Bilbo Baggins is living there. Pay attention to the scale. ;)

So i'm back with a tiny update :)

Image

As you can see there are still many things that are just placeholders, but I will model them eventually... Right now I have to think about the test we are having at school in next week :?

The next image here is a layout of the living room and the kitchen :

I tried removing the wall to test it out, but I don't know if it's the way she want it... But thats all for now

Just a little update to show that i'm alive...

Image

I think I may have misunderstood her, so I have to make the other half of the house to :P But hey, practise makes better right... I don't know why the sofa isn't smoothed but I will look into that...

And I know about the normal problem at the chairs... but they are just placeholders anyway..
